Technical Manager

Successful contract laboratory seeks a qualified chemist to join its team as a Technical Manager. Position entails responsibility for the technical aspects of a chromatography laboratory, including review of testing protocols, writing of standard operation procedures, resolution of testing complications, and development and validation of new test methods. Other duties include consulting with clients regarding testing needs, managing projects, and performing analytical investigations. Candidate must have a minimum of a BS/BA degree in Chemistry and at least four years experience in analytical chemistry. Experience with federal regulations ( i.e. FDA, EPA) as they apply to analytical laboratories is a strong plus. Candidate must be a problem solver, possess good interpersonal skills, and have good technical writing and communication skills. Full time with excellent benefits, flexible working hours.
