Galbraith Laboratories is privileged to actively participate in supporting the heart-warming and worthy mission of the March of Dimes: To improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
Galbraith is involved in numerous fund-raising events in Knoxville and the surrounding counties, such as: WalkAmerica, Chef’s Auction, Golf Outings, Beanie Babies, and more.
Brenda Thornburgh, President of Galbraith Laboratories, Inc., is a member of the Board of Directors for the East Tennessee’s March of Dimes organization.
For 10 years, Galbraith Laboratories has had the pleasure of hosting an Angel Tree for the disadvantaged children in our community. Our employees fill Santa’s sleigh with the various Christmas wishes plucked from the Angel Tree, in hopes of bringing smiles to their faces and hugs to their hearts.
In honor of our Founder, Dr. Harry Galbraith, his legacy, and life-long love of animals and in memory of the late Carolyn Woods Galbraith, the Company established “The Annual Harry and Carolyn Galbraith Scholarship Fund” in 2002. The $5000 Scholarship Fund is an annual contribution to The University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, and is designated to support those pursuing an education in this field.
When possible, Galbraith strives to provide analytical services at no charge to local high school and college students to support their educational achievements in the area of analytical chemistry.
